Dear Zahid
We returned home yesterday after having a wonderful holiday in "The Silk Road". Our visits to Bishkek, Almaty and XinJiang were interesting but we both agree that the best part of our trip was in Uzbekistan.

Well, we are safely back in New Zealand & have managed to catch up on our lost sleep after long uncomfortable flights home to New Zealand.

Yes, we have arrived safely back in NZ! I spent Sunday washing all my clothes - luckily there was a nice warm breeze to dry it and the rest of the day saw me weeding the garden to tidy it up!

Most of us returned on Saturday, with no particular mishaps to report. Tim went on to Turkey to take a group to Gallipoli for Anzac Day, ( in case you don't know, that's an important day for us to commemorate our war dead, especially those who died at Gallipoli in the first world war).
